Some jobs mean more than others. We recently had the privilege of completing new AC installations for two veterans, and honestly, it's the kind of work that reminds us why we do this.
Both homes needed full AC replacements - old systems that were struggling to keep up and just weren't cutting it anymore. A failing AC isn't just an inconvenience. In the summer heat, it's a real problem. Each home got a brand-new outdoor condenser unit, properly mounted on a solid pad and tied into the existing electrical disconnect. Clean installs, done right.
When we do an AC installation, we're not just dropping a new unit in and calling it good. The refrigerant lines, the electrical connections, the pad placement - every part of the setup matters for long-term performance. A sloppy install leads to early failures and higher energy bills. We don't cut corners, regardless of who the customer is. But when the customer is someone who served this country, we feel that extra weight to do it right.
These folks gave a lot. The least we can do is make sure they come home to a house that's actually comfortable. That's not marketing talk - it's just how we feel about it.
If your AC is struggling to keep up or showing signs it might be on its way out, don't wait until it quits on you completely. A proper AC replacement done by experienced hands makes all the difference.
